We are looking to add a senior RFP writer to the team who can be a strong second to the team manager. He/ she will have RFP responsibilities and will also act as a guide/ advisor to the other RFP writers on the team. He/she will possess an in-depth understanding of the RFP, consultant questionnaire and database processes. He/she must be able to provide direction and guidance to RFP writers when questions arise and when priorities change, (often during crunch periods), as dictated by the business..
- Support the team manager in: 
- Process refinement and improvement, including technology and automation projects 
- Gathering metrics and reporting to business management 
- Developing solutions to new and difficult questions 
- Quality reviews 
- Assist in the creation, development and management of an offshore team. Able to identify projects that can be outsourced and creating a strong onshore review process. 
- Contribute to the expansion of a strong database of standard language and develop a strict process for review and updates 
- Must be client-focused and willing to go the extra mile 
- Must be accountable for assigned projects and those of the team 
- Detail-oriented 
- Understanding of both Institutional and Intermediary investment management distribution processes 
Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years of RFP-specific experience 
- Strong project management, organization, planning and presentation skills 
- Proven ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment 
- Creative problem-solving skills 
- Solid understanding of the investment management business, products and services 
- Superior written and verbal communication skills 
- Proven ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment 
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective team player 
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external parties (prospects, consultants, clients, vendors) 
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
